How Much Does It Cost To Hire Cytherea

Amaretti glassati

A simple recipe to prepare excellent amaretti biscuits covered in icing.

Ingredients for 4:
  • 280 gr chopped almonds
  • wafers of 4-5 cm each.
  • 280 grams of sugar
  • ounces of water a pinch of grated orange peel
  • FOR THE GLAZE
  • 120 gr icing sugar
an egg white Preparation: First

you have 60 grams of sugar finely chopped almonds and mix well with a spoon for a few seconds.

Then equip yourself with a pot where you're going to put the remaining sugar with the water, bring to boil and the sugar is completely melted, after which add the almonds and orange zest.

Continue to cook over medium heat until the mixture is smooth and homogenous, always remembering to stir.

Then remove from heat and allow to rest for a couple of minutes. Now immerse the wafers in the mixture and then arrange them in rows in a buttered baking sheet, let rest for 10 minutes and then bake in a moderate oven for about 30-35 minutes.

FOR THE GLAZE
Just whip the egg whites with the icing sugar and brush the cookies on the surface.
